Affiliate disclosure

Some shop links on PlasticFreeHome are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

How we label them

Links that may earn us a commission are marked "Affiliate link" next to the button, and every page with shop links carries a short notice. Affiliate links use rel="sponsored" so search engines know too.

Why they don't change our recommendations

• Researchers set Swap Priority and the Evidence Dials before any shop link is added.
• The people who score products cannot see commission rates.
• We link to the best option whether or not it pays us.
• Commission is never an input to any score. See our independence rules.

What we track

When you click a shop link we record the link, the time and the page you clicked from, so we know which pages are useful. We do not record who you are. Retailers may set their own cookies once you arrive on their site; their privacy policies apply there.
